Cerner Invision Application Owner

We are seeking an experienced Cerner Invision professional to serve as the strategic application owner for the Patient Accounting platform. Candidates must have direct experience with Cerner Invision Patient Accounting. General Cerner Millennium experience or experience limited to other Invision modules will not qualify.

This position focuses on stakeholder discovery, solution design, application governance, and strategic planning. It is not primarily a hands-on system-build, ticket-resolution, or production-support role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery sessions with business and operational stakeholders
• Evaluate new requests and determine their impact on Cerner Invision Patient Accounting
• Translate business requirements into application and solution designs
• Support application strategy, governance, and roadmap development
• Coordinate with business, informatics, vendor, and technical teams
• Plan Invision changes associated with new departments, facilities, and acquisitions
• Support the conversion of ambulatory clinics into Hospital Outpatient Departments
• Assist with the addition of departments and financial classes
• Support potential hospital implementations and acquired facilities operating on Invision
• Guide solution delivery while coordinating with the teams responsible for technical execution

• Direct professional experience with Cerner Invision Patient Accounting
• Ability to evaluate business requests and design appropriate application solutions
• Experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams
• Strong understanding of healthcare patient accounting and financial workflows
• Excellent communication, discovery, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner Invision implementation or expansion experience
• Experience supporting hospital acquisitions, new facilities, or department conversions
• Application ownership, product ownership, senior analyst, or consulting experience
• Experience with Hospital Outpatient Department conversions
• ServiceNow experience
• Bachelor’s degree

Formal Application Owner or Product Owner experience is not required. Strong Senior Cerner Invision Analysts and consultants with the appropriate strategic and solution-design experience are encouraged to apply.
