Cerner Invision Application Owner / Senior Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Cerner Invision Application Owner / Senior Analyst for a long-term remote consulting opportunity supporting a large healthcare organization.

Direct Cerner Invision Patient Accounting experience is an absolute requirement. Candidates with general Cerner Millennium experience but no hands-on Invision Patient Accounting background will not be considered.

This is a strategic application ownership and solution-design role rather than a traditional hands-on build, ticketing, or production-support position. The consultant will work with business stakeholders, informatics teams, vendors, and technical teams to evaluate requests, conduct discovery, define requirements, and guide the future direction of the Invision platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Cerner Invision Patient Accounting.
• Conduct stakeholder discovery sessions to understand business needs and application requirements.
• Evaluate requests for new Invision functionality and enhancements.
• Translate business needs into application and solution designs.
• Support application strategy, governance, and roadmap planning.
• Define and maintain application vision, roadmap, lifecycle, and growth strategy.
• Identify opportunities for application optimization, conversion, and enhancement.
• Support Invision changes associated with new departments, facilities, and organizational growth.
• Participate in discovery workshops, design sessions, project planning, and solution reviews.
• Evaluate implementation considerations, resource needs, effort, and application impacts.
• Partner across business, informatics, vendor, and technical teams.
• Provide recommendations around application capabilities, future-state design, and strategic direction.

• Direct hands-on experience with Cerner Invision Patient Accounting is required.
• Strong understanding of the Invision Patient Accounting environment and related business processes.
• Experience evaluating business needs and determining application impacts and solutions.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders on discovery and requirements.
• Ability to operate as an Invision SME and provide strategic application guidance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Must currently reside in the United States.
• Must be able to work on a W2 basis without current or future sponsorship.
• No C2C arrangements.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as an Application Owner, Product Owner, Senior Invision Analyst, Business Analyst, or Cerner/Invision Consultant.
• Application strategy, governance, roadmap planning, or product lifecycle experience.
• Invision implementation experience.
• Experience supporting new facilities, departments, acquisitions, or other organizational growth.
• ServiceNow experience is helpful but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

This is not a general Cerner position. Candidates must have personally worked with Cerner Invision Patient Accounting. Experience limited to other Cerner products or other Invision modules will not meet the primary requirement.

Pay Rate: $75.00-$78.00/hour W2. Benefits can be included.
