Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Rust development in production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Rust, ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, traits, generics, and async programming.
  • Experience with Tokio, Actix Web, Axum, or similar Rust frameworks.
  • Experience building REST APIs, gRPC services, and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of Linux, networking, multithreading, and concurrent programming.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar messaging platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Kubernetes Operators and cloud-native infrastructure
  • Terraform or Pulumi
  • Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry
  • Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
  • Cryptography, TLS, and secure communications
