Job description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of enterprise SAP initiatives, including an SAP S/4HANA upgrade and migration to SAP RISE. This individual will serve as the primary project manager, partnering with business stakeholders, IT teams, and implementation partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget., * Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA upgrade (1909 to 2023/2025) and SAP RISE migration projects.

  • Serve as the primary Project Manager, partnering with implementation vendors to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, governance frameworks, resource plans, and key milestones.
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, business stakeholders, testing teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Drive project governance, executive communications, and status reporting.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Facilitate decision-making by providing impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, project governance standards, SOX, GMP/GAMP, and other compliance requirements.
  • Lead project cutover planning, operational readiness, hypercare support, and project closeout activities.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership, business partners, and implementation teams.
  • Mentor project team members and promote accountability and collaboration.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading complex SAP transformation programs, managing cross-functional teams, mitigating project risks, and driving successful enterprise implementations., * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise SAP initiatives.
  • Experience leading at least one full SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, or migration project.
  • Proven experience managing complex cross-functional enterprise transformation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Experience working with SAP implementation partners and global project teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and enterprise project delivery frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects, including SAP RISE.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously., * Functional knowledge of SAP modules such as Finance (FI/CO), Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement (MM), Sales (SD), or Quality Management (QM).
  • Experience with enterprise applications such as Workday, Kinaxis, JIRA, reporting/analytics platforms, or Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology.
  • Knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV) requirements.
  • Experience using Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
  • PMP, SAP Project Management, or other related certifications preferred.
