Data Center Safety Engineer

We are seeking a Physical Security Engineer to support daily physical security operations at a data center in Sterling, Virginia.

This role is responsible for coordinating on-site security personnel, managing access-control procedures, inspecting CCTV and other security systems, responding to security incidents, and maintaining security documentation., * Coordinate the daily operations and scheduling of on-site security personnel.

• Manage visitor registration, identity verification and access-control procedures.
• Monitor entrances, exits and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct routine inspections of CCTV, access-control systems and other security equipment.
• Identify camera blind spots, equipment failures and physical security risks.
• Respond to unauthorized access, asset loss and other security incidents.
• Support CCTV and access-control installation or replacement projects.
• Maintain inspection records, incident reports and security equipment inventories.
• Support security training, emergency drills and compliance audits.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and security service providers., * Coordinate the daily operations and scheduling of on-site security personnel.

• Two or more years of experience in physical security, security operations or a related field.
• Experience with CCTV, access-control systems or security personnel management.
• Strong communication, coordination and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to security incidents.
• Ability to work on-site in Sterling, VA 20166.
• Availability for emergency or after-hours support when required.
• Data center, critical facility or industrial-site experience is preferred.
• Mandarin Chinese communication ability is preferred but not required.
