Job description

The Senior Data Scientist will primarily be responsible for leveraging data science methods, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning in an incredibly dynamic and engaging environment.

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for the following:

  • Leveraging data from a variety of sources to analyze performance, identify areas of opportunity, and provide actionable insights to operations leaders and front-line team members, entrenching the team as indispensable insight drivers;

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights;

  • Collecting, processing and cleaning large datasets to identify trends, patterns and anomalies;

  • Deploying machine learning models into production systems and monitoring their performance;

  • Maintaining the reporting tolls that support day-to-day productivity management to achieve revenue targets;

  • Championing data accuracy and integrity across the reporting interfaces;

  • Designing and conducting extensive analysis of performance trends and communicate findings to ensure proper resources are allocated, expectations are met, and optimal results are delivered;

  • Designing and conducting ad-hoc analysis to enable fact-based decision making;

  • Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team; and

  • Staying up-to-date with the latest data science techniques and tools, and recommending new approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our models and processes.

Requirements

Requirements: Requires a U.S. Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Applied Artificial Intelligence and at least one (1) year of experience in the offered position or as a Data Scientist. Must also have at least one (1) year of experience with the following required skills: SQL; relational databases and building decision support models; visualization tools, specifically DOMO and MS Power BI; translating complex technical findings into actionable business insights. Travel requirement: Domestically for conferences/seminars, 3-4x/year.
