Job description

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator with strong expertise in InterSystems IRIS to manage, secure and optimize a critical database environment., * Manage and monitor InterSystems IRIS environments, including health checks, patching, journaling, mirroring and failover testing.

  • Design and optimize database structures using globals and SQL tables.
  • Configure Business Services, Business Processes and Business Operations using BPL.
  • Perform performance tuning, index analysis, query optimization, ECP caching and sharding.
  • Automate deployments using GitLab CI/CD and Ansible.
  • Support backend development using Python and integrate database solutions with microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Document configurations, technical solutions and performance improvements.

  • InterSystems IRIS / Cach / Ensemble
  • ObjectScript and IRIS Python API
  • SQL and NoSQL
  • Python
  • Linux administration and scripting
  • GitLab CI/CD and Ansible
  • Database design for microservices/event-driven architectures
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills
  • Dutch, English and French knowledge
