Job description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to help build the core of our platform and shape the future of industrial AI. 1 Senior Backend Software Engineer (m/f/x) What you will work on

Support and further develop our existing backend infrastructure built with NestJS and TypeScript
Build and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket-based communication services
Design robust data models and translate business requirements into scalable database structures and relationships
Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
Take ownership of deployment and DevOps, ensuring our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable
Work with our Azure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Participate in code reviews, drive engineering best practices, and contribute to architectural decisions
Collaborate closely with our frontend, AI, product, and Quality Assurance teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software

Requirements

Professional backend software engineering experience (4+ years)
Strong experience with NestJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and database modeling
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Experience documenting and testing APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman
Experience with Microsoft Azure is a strong plus
Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Fluent English

The minimum gross monthly salary for this position is EUR 4,611 (14 salaries per year), in accordance with the Austrian Collective Agreement for Employees of Companies in the Field of Services in Automatic Data Processing and Information Technology (ST2 - Entry Level).
