Job description

Within the Marketing function, the Business & Consumer Intelligence Specialist transforms consumer, market, and business data into actionable insights that support growth and strategic decision-making. This role identifies opportunities, analyzes trends, and translates business needs into data-driven recommendations, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders, Data Science, and IT. This is a business-facing role at the intersection of Consumer Insights, Business Intelligence and Analytics. You will work closely with Marketing and Sales stakeholders while collaborating with Data Science and IT teams, acting as a bridge between business needs and analytical solutions. The role also contributes to the adoption of emerging technologies, including Advanced Analytics and Generative AI, to enhance insight generation and support better decision-making across the organization.

Your day-to-day activities

  • Transform consumer, market and commercial data into actionable business insights.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior and business performance to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI.
  • Partner with Marketing, Brand, Consumer Insight and Commercial teams to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Data Science teams on advanced analytics and predictive initiatives, bringing business expertise and market understanding.
  • Explore and implement AI and Generative AI use cases to improve insight generation and reporting processes.
  • Leverage multiple data sources to strengthen consumer and market understanding.
  • Communicate findings through impactful storytelling and executive-ready presentations.

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Market Intelligence, Analytics or other business-facing analytical roles.
  • Strong interest in consumer behavior, market dynamics and the FMCG industry.
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
  • Familiarity with commercial and market data sources (sell-out, consumer panels, market trends and business performance indicators).
  • Knowledge of Power BI and data visualization tools.
  • Interest in AI, Generative AI and digital innovation.
  • Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, learning agility and a proactive mindset.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.

Salary And Benefits *

  • The role is classified at 2°, CCNL Industria Alimentare
  • Initial annual gross salary of minimum € 45.000
  • Premio per Obiettivi (PPO) equal to € 2500 at target level for 2026
