Job description

  • CI/CD Pipelines - Design, build and maintain automated build, test and deployment pipelines.
  • Cloud & Platform Management - Optimise Azure and on-premises applicationenvironments.
  • Monitoring & Observability - Maintain monitoring, logging and performance across platforms.
  • Security & Compliance - Embed security best practices and ensure ISO/compliance standards.
  • Automation - Develop scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manualeffort.
  • Collaboration - Partner with Development and IT teams to support applicationdelivery and resolve deployment issues.
  • ITIL Operations - Manage incidents, requests and problem resolution across theDevOps and application stack.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a DevOps role, ideally within a security-focused or highly regulated environment.
  • Strong Azure expertise, including the design, deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Experience designing and managing complex Microsoft-based infrastructure environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking, infrastructure security and Windows/Linux system administration.
  • Experience implementing GitOps principles and modern deployment strategies.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies and best practices.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash and/or Python to automate operational tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and technical documentation skills.

Desirable:-

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Professional certifications in Cloud technologies and/or DevOps practices (e.g. Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Benefits & conditions

Excellent salary - circa £55,000 + pension + health + share scheme + flexible working + 25 days holidays. Hybrid role role with 2 days in the office per week.
