Senior Platform Architect

We’re looking for a Senior Databricks Architect to lead the design of enterprise-scale data solutions that will power real-time analytics, critical business decisions and next-generation data products. This is a highly visible role where you’ll influence architecture strategy, champion engineering best practices and drive the adoption of modern data technologies across a complex organisation., * Design and implement real-time data ingestion.

• Develop robust data solutions in Databricks.
• Lead the adoption of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Design and deliver reusable, high-quality data products aligned to Data Mesh principles.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security and reliability across the data estate.
• Partner with business, domain and platform teams to enable data-driven decision making.

• Extensive experience using Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Data Lake architectures.
• Strong knowledge around modern cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Legacy integration experience.
• Knowledge around Data governance processes.
