Requirements

  • Minimum of TEN (10) years of relevant experience, including SEVEN (7) years of hands-on ServiceNow experience \n

  • Proven experience serving as a lead or enterprise ServiceNow Architect on large-scale, multi-module implementations \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field \n

  • Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification \n

  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including CMDB, CSDM, data modeling, and domain separation \n

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex enterprise integrations \n

  • Experience with platform scalability, performance tuning, and instance optimization \n

  • Strong understanding of security architecture, including role-based access controls and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP) \n

  • Proven ability to establish and enforce governance frameworks, SDLC processes, and development standards \n

  • Experience with DevOps/CI-CD tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) for ServiceNow delivery \n

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders and influence strategic decisions \n

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust (active DHS Public Trust ) \n

  • US Citizenship is contractually required for this role \n

  • Selected candidate must be able to commute to the client site when needed \n, * ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA), Certified Technical Architect (CTA), and/or ArchX certifications (CTA strongly or in progress) \n

  • Experience implementing and governing Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and mature CMDB strategies \n

  • Prior experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformations or platform consolidations \n

  • Experience with AI-driven capabilities (e.g., Now Assist, Predictive Intelligence, Automation Engine) \n

  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) \n

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud platforms and enterprise systems (Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, etc.) \n

  • Background supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes in federal environments \n

  • Experience in federal consulting or public sector environments

  • Serve as a ServiceNow Technical Architect and Subject Matter Expert, leading the design, implementation, and optimization of complex, enterprise-scale solutions on the ServiceNow platform \n

  • Define and own the enterprise ServiceNow architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, security requirements, and IT objectives \n

  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable, and integrated ServiceNow solutions \n

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture and design across platform capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and App Engine \n

  • Architect and oversee complex integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven patterns \n

  • Establish and enforce platform governance, development standards, and architectural guardrails \n

  • Provide hands-on guidance in configuration and development, including scoped applications, workflows, Flow Designer, and automation solutions \n

  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and platform health assessments to ensure quality, performance, and scalability \n

  • Design and implement reusable and scalable platform components aligned with ServiceNow best practices \n

  • Lead platform lifecycle management, including upgrade planning, regression strategy, and release management \n

  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and source control \n

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and administrators; act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges \n

  • Collaborate with executive and working-level stakeholders to align platform capabilities to mission and business outcomes \n

  • Evaluate and recommend emerging ServiceNow capabilities, including AI/automation and advanced analytics \n
