Software Engineer | .NET/C# | 100% Remote

We’re looking for an entry to mid-level Software Developer to join our small, fast-moving engineering team. In this role, you’ll split your time between hands-on development work and serving as the primary point of contact for user support tickets and questions. This is a great opportunity to build technical depth while developing strong customer-facing communication skills - and to grow into a more dev-heavy role over time as you ramp up.

This is a contract-to-hire, full-time, remote role. You’ll monitor and respond to support tickets submitted by users, troubleshoot issues, gather additional information, and either resolve the issue or escalate as needed. Many requests involve querying backend data and preparing scripts to assist users with updates or issues. You’ll also develop new features and help maintain our custom SaaS platform in a full-stack environment using Microsoft Blazor, .NET API, and a document database.

Responsibilities

Support

• Serve as the first responder for incoming user tickets, questions, and bug reports
• Triage, prioritize, and resolve issues
• Reproduce reported bugs, document findings, and escalate to the broader dev team as needed
• Maintain clear, empathetic communication with users throughout ticket resolution
• Identify recurring issues and flag patterns to the team for longer-term fixes
• Contribute to and maintain internal knowledge base / FAQ documentation

Development

• Fix bugs and implement small-to-medium features across our .NET / Web API stack
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
• Write clean, high-quality, maintainable code
• Gradually take on larger development tasks as skills grow

• Required: Hands-on coding experience with Microsoft web technologies (C#, Blazor, .NET)
• Required: Experience with or strong interest in using AI tools to support development work (e.g., AI-assisted coding tools, LLMs)
• Healthcare domain experience (EHR, Claims, Medicare/Medicaid, TPA)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience with document databases desirable
• Experience with Blazor, RavenDB, and EDI desirable
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written communication skills - you’ll be talking to non-technical users regularly
