Job description
- You’ll continuously develop our thermostat software and work on topics such as energy optimization and motor control
- You’ll improve the stability, maintainability, and quality of our RIOT-based thermostat software and ensure the sustainable further development of the codebase
- You’ll analyze and fix bugs at all levels of our thermostat software
- You’ll analyze hardware issues and continuously enhance our diagnostic capabilities - including, in the future, through automated analysis
- You’ll adapt our thermostat software to new hardware components and technical requirements
- You’ll identify opportunities for improvement in both hardware and software and implement them
- You’ll contribute your experience to technical decision-making and actively shape the future development of our embedded software
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience in software development for deeply embedded microcontrollers
- Excellent knowledge of C, C++, and current language standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuously improving software
- Ideally, experience with wireless technologies, IoT devices, and hardware development
- You naturally use modern AI-powered development tools to efficiently develop high-quality software and are interested in further integrating AI methods into our development processes
- You communicate confidently in English within our international team
- You’re eager to work with us to drive climate protection forward
