Job description

Communications Data Group (CDG) is seeking an experienced and motivated Integration Specialist to support and enhance integrations between our telecom OSS/BSS platform and external customer, vendor, and partner systems. This position will play a critical role in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting REST API integrations, data exchanges, and automation initiatives., The Integration Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting system integrations between internal and external platforms. This role works closely with development teams, project managers, analysts, clients, and third-party vendors to ensure reliable and scalable integration solutions that support business operations and customer requirements., * Construct, Implement, and maintain REST API integrations between CDG systems and third-party applications.

  • Analyze customer and business requirements to determine integration feasibility, technical approach, and implementation timelines.
  • Work with JSON payloads and API request/response structures to support data exchange and automation initiatives.
  • Create, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database-related processes.
  • Perform technical analysis and root-cause investigation for integration issues, data discrepancies, and production incidents.
  • Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, project managers, and customers to deliver integration solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, mapping specifications, process flows, and support procedures.
  • Validate and test inbound and outbound data transactions to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Monitor integration processes and proactively identify opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support customer onboarding projects, system migrations, and data conversion activities.
  • Participate testing activities, and quality assurance processes.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding integration requirements, issues, and solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, API technologies, integration best practices, and telecommunications technologies.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, The ideal candidate will possess strong technical analysis and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON, and advanced SQL/database knowledge. Telecommunications industry experience is preferred., The position requires strong analytical thinking, technical troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to work with APIs, relational databases, and data transformation technologies., * Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience working with system integrations, APIs, relational databases, or software development.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and web service integrations.
  • Strong understanding of JSON data structures and data transformation concepts.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience performing technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
  • Experience with API testing and troubleshooting tools such as Postman or similar tools preferred.
  • Understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and system-to-system integrations preferred.
  • Experience working in Linux or cloud-based environments is a plus.
  • Telecommunications industry experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
