Job description

OverviewLocation: Barcelona Gran Via.Salary Range: €27,** - €51,**.Relocation support is typically not available for this role; please only apply if the Barcelona office location is accessible.Hybrid working arrangement with an expectation of 12 days in the office per month.Responsibilities- Contribute to Central Monitoring Platform outputs development using Statistical Analysis System programming and clinical data standards.- Develop analytics dashboards, reports (KRIs, QTLs and DQA like statistical tests), data pipelines, and monitoring outputs for clinical operations.- Translate business needs into practical, scalable technical solutions that improve user experience.- Perform operations like extract, clean, merge, subset, and derive clinical and operational datasets.- Partner with study teams, statisticians, and Central Monitoring colleagues to clarify output requirements.- Participate in quality checks and validation routines to ensure complete, accurate reports monitoring data.- Support existing dashboards, reports, and pipelines through scheduled refreshes and performance monitoring.Essential Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.- Ideally 2-3 years of experience in clinical programming, clinical data analytics, or Risk-Based Quality Management.- Knowledge and capabilities in SAS/R programming, including tasks such as data extraction, transformation, derivation, and reporting.- Working knowledge of SAS, AI/ML, R/Python/SQL; ability to write clean, simple code and queries.- Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau) for standard visualizations.- Strong understanding of clinical trial data structures and clinical operations processes.- Experience developing Key Risk Indicators, Quality Tolerance Limits, analytics outputs, or monitoring reports.- Working knowledge of Risk-Based Quality Management principles and cross-functional collaboration within clinical development environments.Desirable Requirements- Experience working in a clinical operations environment with Risk-Based Quality Management and knowledge of CluePoints platform.- Understanding of CDISC standards, including Study Data Tabulation Model (SDTM) and Analysis Data Model (ADaM).Benefits & RewardsAt Novartis, we’re committed to reimagining medicine together and rewarding the people who make it happen.The expected annual base salary range for this role is €27,** - €51,**.The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience, and will be reviewed periodically.In addition to base salary, a performance-based bonus may be offered.We provide a variety of competitive benefits, flexible and hybrid working options where possible, and minimum 14 weeks paid parental leave.Pay equity is a fundamental principle of our employment policy, and we uphold a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment as outlined in our Code of Ethics.A full overview of compensation details will be communicated during the application process.Benefits and compensation may vary by country and local legal requirements.Note: Benefits and compensation may vary by country and are subject to local legal requirements, including provisions of collective bargaining agreements where applicable.NoticeNovartis is aware of employment scams and will not ask for money or personal information.If you encounter a fraudulent posting, please do not respond, and do not share money or personal information.If you have concerns, contact official Novartis channels.#J-*****-Ljbffr

Requirements
