Job description

  • Perform exploratory analysis on large, complex operational datasets
  • Develop predictive models for resource planning, capacity forecasting, and operational health
  • Build forecasting, anomaly detection, and recommendation models using machine learning techniques
  • Conduct feature engineering, model validation, and back-testing to ensure model accuracy
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to define success metrics and deliver actionable insights
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders
  • Maintain code and machine learning pipelines using GitHub and Azure Machine Learning

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics
  • Strong Python experience including pandas, scikit-learn, Prophet (or similar forecasting libraries), and PyTorch (preferred)
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Snowflake
  • Experience developing and deploying models using Azure Machine Learning
  • Expertise in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and model validation
  • Experience with GitHub and collaborative development practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience solving resource, workforce, or capacity planning challenges
  • Energy & Utilities or other regulated industry experience
  • Experience with survival analysis or duration modeling
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical results into business recommendations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
