Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. \n \n OR\n \nMaster’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\n \n OR\n \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.\n \n \n* 3+ years of work experience with Programming such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.\n, Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

Benefits & conditions

Experience in software or driver development for operating systems like Linux or RTOS (zephyr RTOS) \n

  • \n Good Programming skills using C, C++ or ARM assembly \n

  • \n Strong Analytical and debugging skills \n

  • \n Skills to collaborate with multiple-teams including HW design to define the software architecture \n

  • \n Understanding of RISCV architecture fundamentals is a plus \n

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • \n Applies Software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs. \n

  • \n Analyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency. \n

  • \n Designs and implements software modules for products and systems. \n

  • \n Participates in the design, coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules. \n

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$162,600.00 - $244,000.00\n

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
