Job description

We are seeking an experienced System Software Programmer - Project Lead to support the South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS). The selected candidate will join the Web Application Development team and play a key role in delivering mission-critical applications, including the Economic Services Re-Engineering Project and Refugee Management System. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using .NET technologies.
  • Lead software development activities throughout the SDLC, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Develop RESTful Web APIs, ASP.NET MVC/Core applications, and responsive web interfaces.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define technical solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing software components.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and code reviews.
  • Manage source code, builds, deployments, and application lifecycle using Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Support application architecture, database integration, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development activities and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience developing SQL Server database-driven applications.
  • 5+ years of experience building secure, scalable N-tier web applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with Angular. Required Technical Skills
