Job description
We are seeking an IT Plant Engineer to join the Site IT team and help redefine and reimagine how site IT supports the manufacturing team as the site operationalizes its electrification revolution. As a member of the Plant IT team, you will work hands-on to assist the plant in producing exciting, new vehicles for the North American consumer market. As part of this role, you will interface with and support IT across a broad range of infrastructure and applications used by the plant to produce these vehicles. You will also apply your knowledge and experience to process-improvement efforts focused on flexible and lean manufacturing, enabling the Factory of Tomorrow.

Corporate IT and Business PartnershipInterface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.Collaborate with Plant Floor Systems and corporate teams to resolve incidents.Provide triage and execute business continuity plans.Support escalations.
Database Administration (DBA)Server OperationsOperations ControlNetwork Operations
Application and Hardware SupportFocus on the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.Assist the Site IT Manager with managing assignments and workload.Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.Network and Server SupportSupport local network equipment in a Cisco-based environment.Support local servers across physical and virtual environments.Work within Windows- and Linux-based ecosystems.

Requirements
Skills RequiredIT Operations, Operations Support Systems, Technical Troubleshooting, IT Support, Technical Customer Support, Technical Support
Experience Required3 5 years of experience in a relevant fieldMulti-Shift Manufacturing SupportSupport a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant.Work on-site with flexible hours to support multi-shift operations.Support weekend production when necessary.
Education RequiredHigh School Diploma or GED
Education PreferredBachelor’s Degree
