Job description

We are seeking a Senior SAP Tax / OneSource Consultant with strong implementation and configuration experience to support large-scale SAP projects within the food and beverage industry. This role requires a hands-on expert who can lead tax solution design, configure SAP tax functionality, and integrate external tax engines while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering full-cycle implementations and is comfortable leading client discussions, gathering requirements, and translating them into scalable SAP tax solutions., * Lead end-to-end SAP tax configuration and implementation efforts within complex enterprise environments.

  • Work directly with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document tax-related requirements.
  • Design and implement SAP tax solutions that align with business processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Configure SAP Record-to-Report (R2R) tax functionality and support integration with external tax engines.
  • Implement and support Thomson Reuters OneSource US Tax Engine integrations with SAP.
  • Support tax processes including alcohol excise tax calculations and reporting requirements (TTB).
  • Configure and support Mexico localization requirements including CFDI eInvoicing, eAccounting, deferred tax, and withholding tax.
  • Support direct tax processes such as tax provisions, roll forwards, sales apportionment, and Global Minimum Tax (GMT).
  • Provide expertise related to the Mexico IMMEX program where applicable.
  • Lead workshops and working sessions with business and IT stakeholders to design solutions and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot complex configuration and integration issues while ensuring high-quality documentation and compliance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of SAP tax implementation and configuration experience.
  • Proven track record completing 3+ full SAP implementation projects, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong experience integrating Thomson Reuters OneSource / US Tax Engine with SAP.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP R2R tax configuration and related financial processes.
  • Experience supporting Alcohol Excise Tax (TTB) calculations and reporting processes.
  • Experience with Mexico localization including:

o CFDI eInvoicing

o eAccounting

o Deferred tax

o Withholding tax

  • Experience with direct tax processes including tax provisions, roll forwards, sales apportionment, and Global Minimum Tax (GMT).
  • Familiarity with the Mexico IMMEX program is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with experience resolving complex business and technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with both technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tax configuration, architecture design, and documentation.
