IT Healthcare Consultant - Software Engineer - Consultant

• Serve as the on-site technical resource for the project.
• Design and document detailed technical specifications.
• Develop and unit test software components and APIs using Java, Python, NodeJS, ReactJS, and AWS.
• Conduct data mapping and gap analysis.
• Utilize IBM Cúram framework to build new functionalities and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with business analysts, technical leads, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide technical guidance and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in quality assurance processes and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Report project status and risks to leadership.
• Translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This role supports a large-scale Eligibility and Enrollment Member Management Project. The team includes state personnel, IT professionals, and consultants. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to contribute to meaningful public sector initiatives., Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Science, or equivalent industry experience Experience Minimum 4 years with IBM Cúram framework, including HCR and CGIS Experience 2 years with Python OR NodeJS, ReactJS/Angular, and JSON Experience 2 years with AWS Experience 3 years implementing Proof of Concepts and writing SQL queries Certification Cúram Certification Other Skills Experience with Cúram OOTB modules (Workflow, Tasks, CER rules, Evidence framework, IEG, Web-services) Other Skills Experience profiling and troubleshooting IBM Cúram code Other Skills Experience delivering in waterfall, scrum, agile, and other methodologies Soft Skills Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, Experience Knowledge of Medicaid principles and processes Experience Experience with Django or similar Python web frameworks
