Job description

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
Build clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
Contribute to the technical architecture and overall product design.
Develop responsive, high-performance, cross-platform solutions.
Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
Troubleshoot application, system, and data-related issues.
Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to refine user stories and develop prototypes.
Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Identify potential technical risks and proactively recommend solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
Strong experience developing applications with PHP.
Experience using Git for source control.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Understanding of AWS cloud services.
Experience with relational databases such as:
MySQL
PostgreSQL
Amazon Aurora
DB2
Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with unit testing frameworks.
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter.
Front-end development experience with React.
Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices.
Exposure to mobile application development.
Familiarity with DDD (Domain-Driven Design), TDD (Test-Driven Development), and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
Experience building and integrating REST Web Services.
