Job Overview As an Android Engineer at Monzo, you will work in a small autonomous product squad with iOS, Backend, User Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, QA Testers, and Data Scientists to build a native mobile app used by more than 11 million people.You will play a key role in shaping the user experience and improving the code quality while moving fast and iterating.Responsibilities* Build polished user experiences in a 100 % Kotlin app that follows MVVM architecture, uses RxJava, Retrofit, Moshi, Dagger, Coroutines, and Room.* Write unit and UI tests, including Compose screen snapshot tests with Happo and Espresso flows.* Collaborate with cross?functional teams and the Android discipline to improve processes and the overall codebase.* Own mobile platform enablement and help other engineers move faster.QualificationsYou care about customer impact and optimise for outcomes rather than lines of code.You have experience programming in Kotlin.You’ve shipped and iterated on at least one app in the Play Store.You have a product mindset and drive data?informed decisions.You love turning design into beautiful products.You can work in a team that deals with ambiguity.You understand core computer science principles.BenefitsBase salarydepends on experience + Incentive Awards tied to performance.Flexible working hoursand a hybrid model (3 days per week in office).Learning budgetof €1,200 per year for books, training courses, and conferences.Equal OpportunityMonzo is an equal opportunity employer.All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to age, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or parental status, national origin, or veteran, neurodiversity or disability status.If you have a preferred name, please use it to apply.#J-*****-Ljbffr
