Python Backend Software Engineer

We’re looking for a talented and passionatePython Backend Software Engineerto join our client’s growing engineering team.You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications that power their products and services.This is primarily abackend engineering role , but we’re looking for someone who enjoys working across the technology stack and is comfortable collaborating with frontend developers when needed.Experience with cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, and modern software engineering practices is essential.What You’ll Be DoingDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using Python.Build scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.Develop and maintain cloud-native applications within AWS.Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform.Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.Review code and mentor other engineers where appropriate.Troubleshoot, optimise, and improve existing applications.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.Strong commercial experience withPython .Experience building REST APIs and backend services.Good understanding ofAWSservices (such as Lambda, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM).Experience withTerraformand Infrastructure as Code.Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.Experience with Git and collaborative software development.Understanding of modern software engineering principles, testing, and CI/CD.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.We’re particularly interested in candidates who also have experience with one or more of the following:Modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.Docker and Kubernetes.Event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.NoSQL databases.Monitoring and observability tools.What We’re Looking ForYou’ll be someone who:Enjoys solving complex technical challenges.Takes ownership of your work and delivers high-quality solutions.Is proactive and eager to learn new technologies.Works well within a collaborative engineering team.Has a passion for building reliable, scalable software.#J-*****-Ljbffr
