We work with leading companies in the country that trust us to guide their digital transformation.We develop active policies of diversity and inclusion of people with disabilities, and we are proud to have a representation of approximately 49% of female professionals.At DXC Spain we are looking for anSDN Network Engineerto join our team and work in an international project for an important Client.RequirementsEducation System Engineering or other relevant IT degree.Proven hands?on network engineering experienceDeep knowledge of Cisco underlay switches.Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., Leaf & Spine Topology, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, **, QoS, VXLAN, EVPN)Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP modelExperience with SDN Products (e.g., Nuage, NSX, CISCO ACI)Hands?on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics toolsMonitoring Tools (Netscout, CA Spectum, VMware VRNI, Arista Cloud Vision Portal)Capability of working under critical situations in a productive environmentNice To HavePublic Cloud experience, preferably in AWS, MS Azure,Solid scripting skills (e.g., Shell scripts, Python, Power Shell,),Cloud architectures (vCloud, Azure/AWS)Automation (AVD, Ansible)Experience in Agile Methodology (Kanban, SCRUM)Experience in Agile Tools (JIRA, Confluence,..)TasksInstall, configure, test and maintain the network infrastructure, switches, routers, also SDN elements like VMware NSX and different network management toolsProactively ensure the highest levels of network and infrastructure availabilityMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with Support & Engineering Teams to implement those fixesWrite and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasksParticipate in the design of information and operational support systemsProvide 2nd and 3rd level supportLiaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolutionWork within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructureWhy DXC?
