(Senior) SOC Analyst

The Collective Consulting is seeking a (Senior) SOC Analyst to join our team of experts dedicated to providing unparalleled cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel to detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents across our clients’ environments. Your analytical and incident handling skills will be critical in protecting our clients and ensuring they achieve robust security postures that align with our mission to empower confidence, resilience, and growth.

• Proven expertise in Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Defender family of products
• Experience as a SOC analyst or in incident handling
• Strong understanding of the incident response lifecycle, from detection through triage to containment and remediation
• Proficiency in KQL for log analysis and detection engineering; PowerShell or Python is considered a plus
• Solid understanding of common attack techniques and the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 SOC environment, including participation in on-call or shift rotations
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements including NIS2 and ISO27001
