Job description

    • Collaborated closely with environment and level artists, as well as level designers, to build detailed worlds that aligned with the art direction and enhanced gameplay.
  • Manage the implementation of levels within the engine, overseeing the entire pipeline from greyboxing to the final polished state.
  • Apply your understanding of composition and staging to create immersive game environments that tell a story.
  • Ensure that levels are built and implemented in a way that maximizes performance while maintaining visual quality.
  • Follow the established production schedule and ensure that your level assignments are delivered on time and meet the quality requirements.
  • Plan and co-ordinate your work regularly with your lead and team by communicating effectively to ensure transparency.
  • Confidently presented work and project progress during team reviews and cross-functional meetings.

Requirements

    • Experience developing games for Console, PC, and VR platforms within an Agile team environment.
  • Built immersive in-engine environments, utilizing meticulous asset placement and set dressing to craft game worlds rich in environmental storytelling.
  • Applied a strong understanding of modularity to build flexible level systems, ensuring rapid iteration and optimized production.
  • Solid understanding of content creation and technical optimization, managing the environment pipeline from functional greybox to final artistic polish.
  • Strong grasp of core art fundamentals, such as color theory, composition, proportion, and shape language.
  • Experience working with Unity and Blender.
  • English on a proficient level.
