Job DescriptionPosition Available: Cloud Security EngineerLocation: Oxfordshire (1 day per week in office)Salary: £50,000 - £62,000Experience needed: Experience building and supporting cloud security solutions within AWS environments, with hands-on exposure to Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security tooling.About our TeamWe’re looking for a Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team, helping to build, deploy, and support the security tooling that protects large-scale cloud platforms.This is a hands-on role focused on AWS, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and DevSecOps practices. You’ll work closely with security, cloud, and software engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational efficiency across the organisation’s technology estate.Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions Deploy, configure, and maintain security tooling across cloud environments Work with engineering teams to improve security, reliability, and operational resilience Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Support incident response, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities Contribute to automation initiatives and security-by-design practicesRequirements Experience working with AWS cloud environments Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions Knowledge of security tooling such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, or vulnerability management platforms Scripting experience using Python, Shell, or similar languages Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or New Relic Understanding of DevOps, Agile, and cloud security best practices Strong communication and collaboration skillsIf you’d like to learn more or register your interest, hit apply as we’d love to hear from you!JBRP1_UKTJ
