We are seeking multiple Level 1 Data Center Technicians to support the installation of structured cabling infrastructure within a large-scale data center in. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or advance a career in the data center industry. Previous data center experience is not required. Candidates should be dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable using a computer, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment., * Install structured cabling in a structured data center environment.

• Perform cable routing, installation, and patching activities.
• Install and connect pre-configured equipment racks.
• Assist with troubleshooting cabling and connectivity issues.
• Utilize the Boost tracking system to document work and update project status.
• Follow established installation standards and quality procedures.
• Adhere to all site safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Please note that this is an installation position and relevant experience with data center installation, structured cabling, electrical wiring, or similar experience is required. Experience with desktop support, network administration, network administration, or similar roles do not provide the proper background for consideration., * High school diploma or GED .

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds., * Experience with structured cabling or low-voltage installations.
• Previous data center, telecommunications, or construction experience.
• Experience with fiber optic installation or splicing is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

• On-site at a large-scale data center construction project.
• Hot and dusty construction environment.
• Must comply with all site safety and security requirements.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
• Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
