Senior User Experience Designer

Experteer Overview In this Senior UX Designer role, you drive Schwab’s digital experiences through design systems, brand expression, and modernization efforts across web and mobile. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to define problems, craft scalable solutions, and elevate design quality at scale. Your work shapes the long-term experience ecosystem and helps Schwab differentiate its digital products. This is an on-site, collaborative role focused on impactful design leadership within the Creative Direction team. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design exploration and decisions from problem definition to execution * Collaborate with Experience Design, Product, Engineering, Brand, and Design System teams to deliver scalable solutions * Design interactions across desktop, web, and native mobile with platform-specific patterns * Contribute to design systems, experience standards, and brand-driven direction * Own delivery of assigned work and proactively address challenges * Mentor or support less experienced designers when opportunities arise * Consult with partners to ensure consistency with design principles and cohesive client experience * Translate brand strategy into scalable product experiences and visual frameworks * Monitor trends and opportunities for modernization including AI-enabled experiences Tasks * 6-10 years of documented UX design experience for digital products * 1+ year UX experience for touch-based mobile interfaces * Experience with user-centered design processes (research, flows, wireframes, prototypes) * Experience contributing to design systems * Strong Product Design and User Interface Design skills (layout, typography, color, motion, usability, accessibility) * Experience designing for web and native mobile platforms * Ability to influence stakeholders through clear storytelling and rationale * Brand identity and strategic thinking capabilities linking design to business outcomes * Proficiency in Figma * Strong collaboration with engineers and cross-functional teams Key requirements * bonus or incentive opportunities * on-site work preference * collaborative culture
