Network Engineer

This is primarily a BAU support and operational role , focused on maintaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment. You’ll be responsible for troubleshooting complex networking issues, resolving incidents, performing upgrades and maintenance, and ensuring the ongoing stability of critical infrastructure.

• Strong experience supporting enterprise network environments in a BAU capacity.
• Advanced hands-on administration of Palo Alto Firewalls , includin Panoramag .
• Strong operational experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience configuring and maintaining firewall policies, NAT, Virtual Routers and Virtual Systems.
• Strong Cisco networking background, with proven experience troubleshooting routing and switching, including BGP , Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking.
• Good understanding of VRFsMPLS, and enterprise WAN technologies.
• Experience supporting Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switching environments.
• Administration and support of F5 LTM and GTM load balancers.
• Experience supporting Riverbed WAN optimisation solutions.
• Familiarity with network monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds .
• Experience carrying out firmware upgrades, patching and maintenance across network and security infrastructure.
• Knowledge of 802.1X authentication.
• Experience supporting Aruba ClearPass is desirable.
• Previous experience within the legal or professional services sector would be advantageous.
