Job DescriptionJoin a world-renowned aerospace organisation as a Configuration & Baseline Engineer in RAF Marham on a fully onsite per week basisDue to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Configuration & Baseline Engineer to add to their talented, hardworking team in RAF Marham on an initial 12 months contract. Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same.The rate per hour: £47.12 per hour inside IR35 / umbrellaThe role:The role supports a critical function within the organisation, responsible for managing and optimising the F35 training database while ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of training data across all stakeholders.It encompasses database administration, configuration management, Instructional Systems Design (ISD), and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) expertise, combined with effective stakeholder collaboration to maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with established training standards, and support governance requirements.Tasks:Manage internal and external customer order requirements into a single source of data. Liaise with Order Book / Warehouse teams to ensure all items are picked, packed and ready to deliver. Support order book and PM teams in reporting delivery of orders. Report to PM team and customers on performance. Attend and support recurring Supply Chain Team reviews Maintain topicality of all Customer logistic reporting’

Requirements

The Individual RequirementsThe Role Holder:Experience:* Proven experience in aviation or defence training environments

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Access and other database systemsKnowledge:* Must have experience of Systems Approach to Training (SAT)
  • Working level knowledge and experience with MS Office suite including Access.Extent of technical knowledge in own area:* Will be required to make decisions independently.
  • Must be proficient in training assurance processes
  • A good understanding of DSAT(JSP822) would be advantageousBusiness Expertise:* Must understand Export controls and ITAR requirements
