Job description

Reporting into the Engineering leadership team, you will play a key role in maximising equipment uptime, improving asset reliability, and reducing unplanned downtime across a busy manufacturing operation., * Developing and implementing reliability and preventative maintenance strategies.

  • Analysing equipment performance data to identify reliability improvements.
  • Leading root cause analysis (RCA) investigations following equipment failures.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase plant efficiency and asset performance.
  • Supporting predictive maintenance programmes and condition monitoring activities.
  • Working closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve operational performance.
  • Monitoring maintenance KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting equipment upgrades, capital projects, and new installations.

Requirements

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional who is passionate about improving equipment reliability, driving continuous improvement, and supporting world-class manufacturing performance., We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a Reliability Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar engineering position within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventative, predictive, and reliability-centred maintenance principles.
  • Experience carrying out root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • An engineering qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline is advantageous.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: £53,770 per annum £5,400 Car Allowance 15% Performance Bonus, * £53,770 basic salary

  • £5,400 annual car allowance
  • 15% annual bonus
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
