Senior Application Engineer (Oracle Fusion HCM Applications)

Experteer Overview In this role, you will lead and shape Oracle HCM Cloud solutions for Navy Federal, acting as a technical expert and partner to HR and business stakeholders. You’ll drive integrations, upgrades, and secure, scalable enhancements that align with enterprise needs. You will own design and delivery across OIC, HDL, HCM Extracts, and related Oracle tools, influencing technical direction and best practices. Compensation / Benefits * Lead design, development, and support of Oracle HCM Cloud integrations using OIC, HDL, HCM Extracts and REST APIs * Collaborate with Business Analysts, HR teams, and developers to capture requirements for reports, interfaces, extensions, and integrations * Translate requirements into detailed technical designs and documentation * Develop and maintain data conversions, custom reports, and extensions using Oracle tools (HCM Extract, BI Publisher, OTBI, FDI) * Provide technical leadership for system enhancements, upgrades, and customizations * Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and post-production * Manage Oracle Service Requests in coordination with Oracle Support * Conduct unit testing and ensure QA of delivered solutions * Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices * Ensure compliance with ETS standards and development methodologies Tasks * Expert in Oracle Cloud tools: OIC, HCM Extracts, HDL, HSDL, BI Publisher, Fast Formula, Page Composer, Page Configurator, VBCS, Redwood Design System * Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules * Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services * Experience in Oracle Cloud Application Security (job/data roles, security policies) * Familiarity with Oracle Risk Management tools, Advanced Controls, and Segregation of Duties * Proven BI Publisher report development and troubleshooting * Interface development and application security roles * Workflow approvals and enterprise integration using OIC * OIC adapters aligned with data-mapping needs (SOAP, REST, FTP, pre-built) * Oracle Fusion Cloud data import processes using FBDI and HDL via OIC * Proficiency in PL/SQL and middleware such as MuleSoft and OIC * Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills * Proven leadership in guiding technical teams and experience in resource planning Key requirements *
