Experteer Overview In this role you will lead development on large, cross-functional initiatives in derivatives and loan platforms. You’ll guide front-end and back-end teams to deliver scalable, high-throughput solutions that support onboarding and processing workflows. You’ll collaborate with architects, analysts, and offshore developers to optimize usability, reliability, and performance across DHub and LHQ domains. You’ll champion agile practices and CI, shaping modernization efforts and acting as a subject matter expert to ensure end-to-end success. Compensation / Benefits * Develop web front-end solutions using frameworks like React JS and GWT * Build and maintain middle-tier and backend services with Java, Spring, streaming, messaging, PL/SQL, and Hibernate * Lead projects around onboarding clients to DHub and LHQ * Coordinate with developers, architects, and end users for compatibility and satisfaction * Leverage offshore teams for application delivery * Champion CI and Agile development practices * Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into Epics and Roadmaps * Support modernization/transformation of DHub and legacy Loans platforms * Serve as Subject Matter Expert on DHub/LHQ processes and applications * Perform root-cause analysis for client issues and conduct business analysis on discrepancies * Identify and resolve project issues and troubleshoot data queries across teams * Communicate with onshore/offshore teams and participate in stakeholder status meetings Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 7 years of hands-on technology development * 7 years in financial industry with OTC derivatives and bank loans experience * 7 years designing multi-threaded backend applications for high-throughput processing * 7 years transforming legacy desktop apps into scalable cloud-native web apps * 5 years of Java/J2EE and 5 years of React JS or GWT * 5 years of web services and JMS * 5 years of Oracle/PL-SQL/Exadata/SQL Server * 5 years DB optimization for legacy modules * 5 years streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka) and microservices * 4 years Spring Boot-based scheduler development * Proven ability in high-volume, low-latency systems * Excellent verbal/written communication and teamwork qualities Key requirements * 401K with company match * comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance * life and disability coverage * paid time off * employee assistance program * incentive compensation
