Job description

We are on the hunt for a skilled and dedicated Computer Vision Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position in the autonomous systems industry where you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge computer vision systems.   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and system design.
  • Perform research and development activities to support project needs and to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies in the field.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous testing protocols to ensure the quality and reliability of algorithms.
  • Work closely with software engineers to integrate computer vision systems into broader product architectures.
  • Document algorithm development and performance results.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex problems, leveraging your creativity and technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in computer vision or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.
  • Experience with image processing techniques and 3D computer graphics.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical foundations behind computer vision algorithms.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing computer vision algorithms in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
