Job description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Architect to design, support, and enhance an enterprise Salesforce platform that powers environmental grant programs, regulatory operations, and citizen-facing digital services. This individual will play a critical role in the ongoing evolution of a complex Salesforce ecosystem, developing scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing applications. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Apex development, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS), and Salesforce Grantmaking. This role requires someone who is comfortable working across both declarative and programmatic development while supporting mission-critical applications in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience building and supporting Experience Cloud portals.
  • Hands-on experience with OmniStudio including OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards.
  • Experience configuring Salesforce Flows and Process Automation.
  • Experience working with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, and CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, and governor limits.
  • Experience writing Apex unit tests and following secure development practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS) experience.
  • Salesforce Grantmaking experience.
  • Experience supporting government, public sector, environmental, or regulatory organizations.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, or middleware.
  • Experience with DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or similar deployment tools.
  • Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Salesforce Application Architect
  • Salesforce System Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (preferred but not required)
