Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Malvern as we undergo an active platform modernization. This role is heavily weighted toward frontend architecture and development (~60% Frontend / 40% Backend), but requires robust backend experience and hands-on integration testing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Modernization: Design, build, and maintain high-performance user interfaces using React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Full Stack Integration: Write and maintain backend code using Java and Spring; conduct thorough end-to-end and integration testing between frontend and backend services.

Observability & Logging: Monitor system health, track application logs, and debug API performance using tools like Splunk, Honeycomb, and Bruno.

Cloud & DevOps Alignment: Support cloud-hosted microservices within an AWS ecosystem.

Team Engagement: Actively participate in design reviews, collaborate closely with Tech Leads and Senior Developers, and drive modern engineering best practices., * Frontend Modernization: Design, build, and maintain high-performance user interfaces using React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Requirements

Experience: 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience.

Frontend Core (60%): Robust proficiency in React, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

Backend Core (40%): Solid working experience with Java and Spring framework fundamentals.

Tooling: Direct experience with Git version control and API testing/monitoring tools (e.g., Bruno, Postman, Splunk, Honeycomb).

Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Malvern, PA (1400 Atwater).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Experience with AWS services and cloud deployment patterns.

Hands-on experience with telemetry and observability platforms like Honeycomb or Splunk.

Soft Skills

Proactive & Curious: Self-starter mindset; comfortable digging into legacy code bases, asking strategic questions, and suggesting modern alternatives.
