Job description

Backend Developer (AWS, Python, Java)

Perform senior-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and data solutions

Develop and enhance scalable applications supporting document processing and publishing workflows

Translate technical specifications into working code for new development and enhancement initiatives

Build, test, and deploy applications across development, test, and production environments

Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and performance

Integrate third-party tools and services into the application ecosystem

Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and test inspections to ensure quality standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions

Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Support change management processes, including documentation and release coordination

Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices in development and architecture

Ensure adherence to enterprise technology, security, and compliance standards, * Backend Developer (AWS, Python, Java)

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in application development

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience (advanced degree preferred)

Robust hands-on development experience in:

Angular (front end)

Java and Python (backend)

Expertise in AWS cloud services, including:

S3

DynamoDB

Glue (or equivalent data processing services)

Experience building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications

Robust experience in API development, including REST and GraphQL

Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
