Job description
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define infrastructure architecture, DevOps strategies, and technical requirements across projects and programs. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines to enable efficient and reliable application delivery. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Deploy and manage applications across development, QA, staging, and production environments. Establish and maintain 24x7 infrastructure and application performance monitoring (APM) to ensure high availability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization. Design and support scalable containerized platforms using Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies. Implement disaster recovery, business continuity, backup, and audit compliance processes, ensuring regular review and testing. Continuously identify opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Lead incident response activities, perform root cause analysis, and drive remediation actions for critical production issues. Serve as the escalation point for complex infrastructure and deployment-related incidents. Support cloud operations activities including patch management, AMI rehydration, cluster upgrades, and infrastructure maintenance. Mentor, coach, and guide team members while supporting performance management and professional development initiatives.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, automation, and operation of cloud and hybrid infrastructure platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business and technology leaders to establish DevOps best practices, build scalable CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensure highly available, secure, and cost-effective environments across cloud and on-premises ecosystems. The role requires strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux administration, infrastructure monitoring, cloud operations, and deployment automation. Key Skills DevOps & Automation Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience with Bamboo, Tekton, and deployment automation tools. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automation. Cloud & Infrastructure Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Platform. Experience with Azure Cloud and hybrid cloud/on-premises integration. Experience designing, scaling, and managing enterprise infrastructure environments. Knowledge of cloud networking, security integration, and cloud architecture best practices. Containerization & Kubernetes Experience with Kubernetes administration and container orchestration. Experience implementing scalable container platforms, including Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA). Knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management, upgrades, and operational best practices. Infrastructure as Code Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure. Monitoring & Observability Experience implementing Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions. Strong knowledge of infrastructure monitoring, logging, observability, alerting, and incident management. Linux Administration Strong hands-on experience with Linux Operating Systems. Deep understanding of Linux kernel-level commands, system administration, performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting. Experience managing TLS/SSL security protocols and related infrastructure configurations. Operations & Reliability Experience with operational activities including: Cloud patching AMI rehydration Kubernetes cluster upgrades Infrastructure lifecycle management Production support and incident management Preferred Qualifications Experience in large-scale enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. Exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud environments. Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Strong understanding of security, compliance, and audit requirements. AWS and/or Kubernetes certifications are highly desirable.
