That is our goal for our team, our commercial software platform that helps advanced hardware manufacturing teams integrate, track, iterate, build, and test efficiently.
As a Senior Full-Stack Software Development Engineer on the team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable end-to-end features-from intuitive front-end interfaces to reliable, performant backend systems. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and hardware teams to create tools that accelerate innovation in advanced hardware development. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of ownership, technical excellence, and curiosity-balancing fast execution with thoughtful engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end features across the full stack using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Postgres
- Architect and optimize backend data models, APIs, and services for performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Build and refine user interfaces that make complex hardware manufacturing workflows simple and intuitive
- Contribute to excellence in operations including maintaining and improving our CI pipeline and independently supporting an on-call shift
- Implement and maintain a strong automated testing culture with comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end coverage
- Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions across the Boltline platform
- Partner with product and hardware teams to translate user needs into scalable, elegant software solutions
- Contribute to operational excellence by improving CI/CD pipelines, observability, and on-call reliability
- Mentor and guide mid- through internship-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and design collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field / experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience building production web applications
- Deep expertise in full stack TypeScript
- Proficiency with some combination of React, GraphQL, Typescript and Postgres.

- Strong understanding of software testing principles and experience with modern testing frameworks
- Proven ability to own features from concept through deployment and iteration
