Job description
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large portfolio of data engineering workloads
- Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar) across AWS environments
- Support Authority to Operate (ATO) activities
- Monitor pipeline health, set up alerting, and help troubleshoot production incidents
- Harden environments against security findings and support vulnerability remediation
- Partner with data engineers to bake security and reliability into new pipeline builds from day one
- Contribute to the team’s evolving DevSecOps standards and documentation
- Support access management and authentication/authorization configuration (e.g., EntraID, Ranger, or similar)
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in a DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or security engineering role
- Working knowledge of AWS (Glue, MWAA/Airflow, EMR, S3, Lambda, Athena, or similar services)
- Experience with CI/CD infrastructure as code tooling such as Ansible or Terrasform
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work closely with an entirely remote team
- U.S. citizenship, with no dual citizenship, required (federal contract eligibility requirement)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust designation
Bonus Skills
- AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security specialty)
- Experience with data quality or observability tooling
