Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will help accelerate the design and verification of next-gen renal denervation medical devices. You’ll work within the Renal Denervation group to address complex system interactions across electronics and software, aligning with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define architectures, manage interfaces, and drive critical design trade-offs. This is an impact-driven position in a patient-focused mission, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and problem solving. You will contribute to delivering safe, effective medical devices that improve patient outcomes. Compensation / Benefits * Create and execute test suites to verify system design functions * Resolve complex systems interaction problems in cardiovascular or renal denervation domains * Provide expertise across product development lifecycle including electronics and software * Ensure completeness and correctness of requirements and define interface requirements between systems * Participate in cross-functional teams and drive timely decisions to meet project objectives * Plan, monitor, and execute multiple systems engineering activities in the product lifecycle * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define business and customer needs for new products * Design or support development of a systems architecture aligned with business and customer needs * Contribute to identifying new technologies and evaluate their application in product design and in-vivo use * Support or lead design trade-offs for features and present decisions to project management * Anticipate problems and propose alternate solutions * Apply systems engineering principles, competencies, and methodologies Tasks * Bachelor in Electrical, Computer, Software or Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field * Minimum 4 years of experience integrating and verifying system design functions (or advanced degree with 2 years; PhD with 0 years) * Medical device industry experience (preferred) * Understanding of design, development, and testing of complex medical device systems (preferred) * Experience with developing system requirements, verification protocols, and test methods for embedded devices (preferred) * Familiarity with IEC 60601-1 and ISO 13485 (preferred) * Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (preferred) * Experience with QMS requirements and secure by design principles (preferred) * Basic knowledge of software development and programming (preferred) * Working knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and medical device regulation (preferred) * Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships (preferred) Key requirements * Health, Dental and Vision insurance * 401(k) with employer match * Tuition assistance/reimbursement * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Incentive plans * Paid time off
