Sr. Systems Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you will develop Neuromodulation products from feasibility to market release, acting as a systems engineering lead within a matrix, and guiding cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into viable medical device solutions. You will shape architectures, drive risk management, and ensure regulatory-aligned delivery while collaborating with physicians, health systems, and internal partners. This position offers influence across the product life cycle and a path to thought leadership in neuromodulation. You will travel ~10% for events and launches. Compensation / Benefits * Translate inputs into high-quality engineering requirements * Design system architectures across all development phases * Convert system requirements into product requirements within constraints * Perform functional and interface analyses, trade studies, and requirements allocation * Lead system analysis and design activities including architecture, interfaces, modeling, integration, and FMEA * Develop digital platform solutions and data architecture * Define policies and data models for data collection and access * Identify risks and execute risk burn-down plans * Facilitate cross-functional communication on test strategies, perform hands-on testing, resolve issues * Verify and validate system requirements through tests and analyses * Support regulatory submissions and knowledge transfer to continuation engineering * Represent projects to internal/external stakeholders; negotiate and influence where needed * Manage moderately complex projects and act as team lead when required * Provide guidance and training to colleagues; advocate for best practices and process improvements * Contribute to technology evolution and roadmaps; build consensus across business and engineering teams * Travel 10% for conferences and product launches Tasks * Bachelor degree with 4 years of relevant experience OR Masters with 2 years OR PhD with 0 years Key requirements * Health, Dental and Vision insurance * Health Savings Account * 401(k) with employer match * Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Tuition assistance/reimbursement * Paid time off
