Experteer Overview As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will deliver expert lifecycle support for AFLCMC/ESA programs, guiding DoD initiatives from requirements through disposal. You’ll work with government leadership to plan, analyze, and execute acquisitions that deliver critical warfighter capabilities. The role spans system engineering across air, mechanical, and electrical domains, including test, evaluation, and certification activities. You will help shape specifications, reviews, and technical plans while ensuring policy compliance. This position offers meaningful impact within a mission-driven defense program and collaboration across cross-functional teams. Compensation / Benefits * Provide systems, electrical, and/or mechanical engineering support for DoD systems (new and legacy) * Coordinate engineering tasks for modifications and upgrades * Support customers with data analysis, repair requirements, reliability/maintainability actions, and worldwide user support * Assist in test and evaluation activities, including planning and reporting * Conduct engineering reviews across the program lifecycle and verify documentation * Contribute to system specifications and architecture products * Support technical planning, risk tracking, and test plan/data review * Assist in scheduling test resources and evaluating contractor proposals * Monitor, assess, and report on test efforts with recommendations for improvements Tasks * U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance * Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 12+ years of experience in the discipline (DoD experience required if applicable) or 15+ years of directly related experience with 8+ years in DoD * Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) * Systems Architecture Development * System Modeling (SysML, Cameo, Rhapsody) * Interface Control Documentation (ICDS) * Requirements Development & Management * Communications & Networking Systems * Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) * Radar & Surveillance Systems Integration * RFI/RFP Development * SOW Development * Source Selection & Vendor Evaluation * Microsoft Office 365 & SharePoint * SolidWorks Key requirements * medical * dental * 401k * ESOP * PTO * education reimbursement
