Job description
Experteer Overview In this role you will lead the design and governance of autonomous software delivery systems that translate intent into production-ready features. You will work within Old National Bank’s Product Engineering organization to build secure, AI-powered workflows using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and guardrails. You’ll balance engineering fundamentals with emerging agentic technologies to deliver reliable, compliant outcomes in a regulated environment. This is a hands-on leadership role that shapes architecture, testing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable delivery results. Compensation / Benefits * Own intent-to-outcome delivery by converting business intents into shipped features using agentic workflows * Write and review high-quality code in Golang, Python, and TypeScript across components and services * Ensure automated testing and continuous verification for safety and correctness of autonomous and human-written code * Optimize for outcomes (cycle time, reliability, quality, delivery economics) and apply human coding where it adds leverage or safety * Identify ambiguities, dependencies, and operational risks, hardening prototypes into production-ready systems * Architect and orchestrate AI systems (LLMs, RAG, program synthesis, CI/CD generation, runtime automation) * Design and operate AWS cloud-native/serverless systems with GitOps CI/CD and Terraform * Lead cross-functional collaboration with product, security, risk, and compliance to define intents and controls * Implement governance and safety controls (guardrails, evaluation frameworks, human-in-the-loop reviews) * Mentor engineers in agentic workflows, AI evaluations, software design, and coding practices * Lead design and code reviews Tasks * 6-8 years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems * Proficiency in Golang, Python, and TypeScript with API design and cloud-native development * Experience with AWS, GitOps CI/CD, serverless architectures, and Terraform * Hands-on experience integrating LLM platforms (AWS Bedrock, Anthropic), embeddings/vector stores, and orchestration frameworks (Bedrock AgentCore) * Familiarity with AI evaluation/observability, guardrails, policy-as-code, and secure, compliant system design in regulated environments * Strong leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration skills Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision insurance * 401K * continuing education opportunities * employee assistance program * volunteer and charitable giving programs * Impact Network Groups promoting inclusion
