Job description
Experteer Overview You will lead and implement Workday technical solutions, blending hands-on development with architecture design. As the technical point of contact for the Workday developer platform, you’ll partner with product owners and stakeholders to convert evolving requirements into scalable designs. You’ll drive modernization of integrations, Extend applications, and data platforms while staying current with Workday innovations. This role offers opportunities to shape a high-impact, cross-functional Workday program and work on state-of-the-art HR tech challenges. Compensation / Benefits * Lead solution design for complex Workday initiatives, especially when requirements are unclear * Translate business needs into technical designs with diagrams, data flows, and specs * Develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday solutions across integrations, Extend, and data platforms * Implement secure integration patterns (OAuth, SAML) and modern auth standards * Architect and re-architect integrations to modernize the tech stack * Monitor performance, troubleshoot, and support the Workday integration landscape * Create high-quality technical documentation including runbooks and architecture decisions * Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to drive end-to-end solutions * Stay current on Workday features and AI/LLM opportunities in HR tech * Improve integration methodologies and team practices Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 6+ years of experience with at least 4+ years in Workday technical work * Workday Orchestrate proficiency and certification in Orchestrate/Integrations * Experience with Workday Business Processes and Security Configuration * Proven ability to build Workday Extend applications and RaaS * Experience with XML, SQL, JSON and REST/SOAP/GraphQL in enterprise contexts * Familiarity with middleware/iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft) and data platforms (Snowflake, Power BI) * Strong security/authentication knowledge (OAuth, SAML) * Ability to design solutions under ambiguous requirements and to document decisions * Experience with integration testing, release management, and operations * Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Key requirements * medical, dental, and vision plans * 401(k) with 150% match up to 6% * life insurance * 3 weeks paid time off * tuition reimbursement
