Job description

Experteer Overview As a Research Scientist at Eyeline Labs, you will push the boundaries of visual storytelling by advancing high-fidelity reconstruction and photorealistic image synthesis. You will shape production-ready algorithms for dynamic scene capture, 3D reconstruction and relighting, collaborating with VFX artists and production teams. Your work will contribute to cutting-edge research while translating findings into real-world pipelines. This role offers the chance to influence next-gen VFX and virtual production within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Compensation / Benefits * Conduct applied research in computer graphics and machine learning for high-fidelity reconstruction and photorealistic image synthesis * Design, implement, and evaluate algorithms for (Dynamic) Gaussian Splatting, 3D reconstruction, performance capture and relighting with production path * Lead data acquisition and curation to support next-gen ML for VFX and virtual production * Engage with VFX artists, supervisors, and production teams to ground research in production needs * Share findings and participate in top-tier conferences (SIGGRAPH, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR) * Collaborate with engineering, production, and business teams to translate research into production-ready solutions * Identify and champion new research directions with impact on content creation and virtual production Tasks * MSc or PhD in relevant fields with demonstrated research in 3D computer vision and computer graphics * Experience with 3D reconstruction, dynamic scene capture, photorealistic rendering, and Gaussian Splatting * Familiarity with modern generative architectures (diffusion models, transformers) * Ability to operate at both algorithmic and implementation levels, including large-scale data processing and production integration * Proven track record translating research into production-quality solutions and collaborating with artists, engineers, and production teams * Strong attention to detail and high-fidelity image and signal processing * Excellent communication and collaboration across research, engineering, and creative teams * High ownership, initiative, and problem-solving attitude * Passion for movies, TV, and storytelling (preferred) Key requirements *
