Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Scientist at Analytica, you will lead the development of analytics, ML, and AI solutions for a defense health mission-critical program. You will work directly with clients in a consulting and delivery capacity to translate needs into technical solutions and actionable insights. You will advance generative AI, NLP, and data-driven decision support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role blends technical excellence with stakeholder collaboration to drive mission success and innovation. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and deploy advanced analytics, ML, NLP, and AI solutions aligned to client objectives. * Advance generative AI and RAG capabilities using LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering. * Perform data acquisition, ETL, EDA, preparation, and validation using Python and SQL. * Apply statistical methods, predictive modeling, and time-series analysis to solve complex challenges. * Develop, test, and monitor AI/ML solutions for production in terms of accuracy, reliability, scalability, and security. * Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. * Develop and troubleshoot APIs and data services, integrating with enterprise and cloud platforms. * Contribute to software development with Git, Agile practices, and code reviews. * Produce documentation, implementation guidance, and knowledge-transfer artifacts. * Evaluate emerging technologies and apply modern data science methods to improve processes and solutions. * Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Tasks * Five or more years of experience in data science, analytics, ML, or AI, with leadership on technical tasks and complex projects. * Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data prep, analytics, model development, testing, and deployment. * Experience designing, developing, validating, and monitoring ML models (feature engineering, evaluation, performance). * Working knowledge of AI/NLP concepts, LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and retrieval methods. * Experience building API-based solutions and integrating ML/AI services into enterprise environments (Databricks preferred). * Familiarity with AWS and AI platforms (e.g., Amazon Bedrock) is a plus. * Familiarity with OO design, Git, Agile, and software development best practices. * Strong communication and problem-solving skills for technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work independently, learn new tech quickly, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams. * Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain SECRET clearance.
